SICKO

Not being a movie person,I have to rely on box office results and media to judge a film.

Has anyone here seen SICKO?

Judging by the internet movie sites,SICkO'S take at the box office is SICKO!

Only 19 million after 5 weeks,but I guess it all depends on what the production cost came to.

Most of the cable shows panned it and CNN...yes...CNN,that liberal biased station went out of their way to call it a fraud.

Oh well,some days ya just can't fool anybody. Even the French did not care too much for this one.

Any comments?

As you know, most critics praised the film (I don't know how many times you need this pointed out to you), and CNN did not trash the movie at all. It was in fact Michael Moore who behaved as if they did by overreacting. Dr. Sanjay Gupta who criticized the film also added that he was largely impressed by it. The transcript is presumably available on CNN.com and is very interesting.

As for the box office numbers, I haven't checked them out. Healthcare is not the stuff of movie magic however, so that may be one reason if moviegoers stay away.
