Just thought you all should know. It's obvious Grendel does not want certian people back there posting. I really don't blame her. I mean, what's the point? We all know what happens.

Other then Shadow (and perhaps Stefan) I don't think any of us intended to return there anyway.

Nobody on either board has ever done me the slightest injustice so I feel like I can go both places and avoid the hassles. I was tired of posting for a while because it seemed that we had all reached a point of repetition in regard to political stances. Mine keep changing and i can respect others views even if i don't always agree with the view or sometimes simply the way the view is expressed. But that's nothing to get a bleeding ulcer over.

I see that Maine Man, Stefan, Jay and Grendel all have similar interests in film. Why let politics get in the way of that avenue of communication? I don't say avoid reasonable debate (though today in American politics debate may be the wrong word) but I try to avoid things that will ruin a friendship.

This is what I was afraid of. I just don't understand. I mean, as the administrator, I answer to you guys. Not the other way around. I can't just delete stuff unless you specifically tell me to. I don't really know what to say except that Homer and I have discussed safeguards for this board to prevent those types of abuses.

If any of you feel that I am committing abuses as the administrator, feel free to confront me about it. Or if you are not comfortable with that option, you can discuss it with Homer and your confidence will be respected. If the situation can not be remedied, I can step down at any time. Also there are steps in place that allow Homer to take over at any time if he feels I am over-stepping my job-description.

I just want you all to know that we did the best we could to make sure that everyone here would never have to deal with this situation again. There will never be deleted posts (unless you ask for it). There will never be a lock out. There will never be any form of censorship (with the exception of one word). Everyone here has a say in what happens to this house. I handle the hum-drum decisions that are too petty to bother you all with, but anything of consequence will be decided by the group.

We may not like what some of us have to say at times but that is price of true free speech, right?

I don't think anyone has a problem with how you are doing things. I don't. What abuses have you commited? None that I see. Don't worry about it. You're doing just fine.

I was just saying that Homer and I made sure that there were options for everyone if they felt that things weren't being done properly. Technically, there isn't much to do anymore.

Unless you guys want something changed like the theme or colors or you want stuff re-arranged, I don't really have much of a job. It's sort of like a glorified file clerk really. That's pretty much it. But thank you for the vote of confidence.

He wouldn't use any bad language,would he?lol

Or was he deleted because its a pick and choose who you agree with site now?
