Three cheers for Tim Russert!!!

Someone finally held Hillary's feet to the fire and showed the world how she NEVER takes a stand on one side of ANY issue.

She double speaks on everything.
Tim called her on it,and she did not like it one bit...lol

Tim and the other candidates pointed out that she gave two opposing answers to the question about licenses for illegals within 2 minutes.

Sort of the now famous,"it depends on the meaning of the word is" crap Bubba tried to get away with...lol

And get this...Hillary's camp came out today claiming Russert's questioning was unfair..Bwahahaha..they did not say that when he pressed the Republicans for clarification during their debate.

The Top 6 Attacks On Hillary At Last Night's Debate

PS: Last night, I suffered through another hideous Democratic debate which featured 2 hours of socialists talking about how rotten everything is in this country, followed by each of them blaming every bad thing that's happening on Bush -- and then they all promised to fix each problem with either massive new spending, a huge increase in government power, or some combination thereof.

After the debate, I took a little tour around the National Review blogs and was absolutely amazed to find them saying that Hillary won the debate. In my opinion, she delivered the single worst performance of any top tier candidate, on either side, so far this year.

What happened time and time again throughout the debate was that Tim Russert would ask Hillary a question, she would parse her answer to lead you in a certain direction, but leave herself enough wiggle room to do a 180 on the subject if the polls change, and then Russert would call her on it.

After watching her performance, you couldn't help but think back to Bill Clinton saying, "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is," during his grand jury testimony and think, "that's exactly what she'd be like." Maybe political junkies are impressed with her deceptive wording, but it's hard to imagine any ordinary person, conservative, liberal, or moderate, watching Hillary's performance last night and thinking, "That's what I want in a President."

So, huge, huge, loser: Hillary. The winner? I'm going to say Obama with Edwards and Richardson close behind, but I'm not sure that anyone came out of that debate looking better than they did going in.

Hollywood star Tom Cruise is planning to build a bunker at his Colorado home to protect his family in the event of an intergalactic alien attack, according to new reports.

The Mission Impossible actor, who is a dedicated follower of Scientology, is reportedly fearful that deposed galactic ruler 'Xenu' is plotting an evil revenge attack on Earth.

According to American magazine Star, a source said: "Tom is planning to build a US$10 million bunker under his Telluride estate."

"It's a self-contained underground shelter with a high tech air purifying shelter."

The facility is said to have enough room for ten people - including wife Katie Holmes, 17-month-old daughter Suri and his adopted children Isabella, 14, and Connor, 12.

N.Y. Drops Citizenship Proof For Driver's Licenses

(CBS) NEW YORK They were celebrating outside the governor's office Friday as Eliot Spitzer handed a landmark victory to a half-million illegal immigrants.

The state will no longer require proof of citizenship for driver's licenses.

"We're changing our policy with respect to getting more people out of shadows and into the system so people don't hide they're here," Spitzer said.

He said the current restrictions on non-citizens have filled the roads with unlicensed drivers five times more likely to get into accidents.

But the also called it a matter of justice.

"As long as I'm governor we won't pretend they don't exist, cut them off from society," Spitzer said.

But the action triggered a bitter response from some 9/11 family members, who said the governor would be providing identification for potential terrorists.

Will they deem these threats as free speech,or will they see them for what they REALLY are...contracts for murder!

al-Qaida: Bounty on Swedish Cartoonist

CAIRO, Egypt -- The leader of al-Qaida in Iraq offered money for the murder of a Swedish cartoonist who recently produced images deemed insulting to Islam, according to a statement carried by Islamist Web sites Saturday.

In the half hour audio file entitled "They plotted yet God too was plotting," Abu Omar al-Baghdadi also promised a new offensive in Iraq during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

On Aug. 19, the Swedish newspaper Nerikes Allehanda published a cartoon by Lars Vilks that depicted the Prophet Muhammad with a dog's body.

Muslims in Sweden rallied outside the newspaper's offices to demand an apology, and the governments of Iran and Pakistan lodged formal protests with Sweden, but other than that the reaction to the cartoon was muted.

That response is in contrast to last year's fiery protests that erupted in several Muslim countries after a Danish newspaper published 12 cartoons of Muhammad.

Islamic law is interpreted to forbid any depiction of the prophet for fear it could lead to idolatry.

In the tape, al-Baghdadi also named other insurgent groups in Iraq that al-Qaida was fighting and promised new attacks, particular against the minority Yazidi sect that was recently devastated by massive car bombs.

"We are calling for the assassination of cartoonist Lars Vilks who dared insult our Prophet, peace be upon him, and we announce a reward during this generous month of Ramadan of $100,000 for the one who kills this criminal," the transcript on the Web site said.
